A week early Ashwell Arms

Geoff informs that the 1st Friday session at The Ashwell Arms in Leighton Buzzard will be a week early this time round (on Friday - Sept. 30th). This is due to conflcting events apparently.

Changes at The Bull

The Bull in Stony is once more in a state of flux regarding owner/managers so the last Monday session (this week) is unlikely. Until the situation resolves itself the future of this session is a bit uncertain at the moment.

Crauford update

Regarding the Wednesday night open mic at The Crauford in Wolverton the following update has kindly been sent in by Richard Gebbie:

It starts at 8pm, every Wednesday.

Try out session at Ledburn

Steve Barnes has forwarded this message from Sally.

I have managed to persuade the Hare & Hounds at Ledburn to have the Sporty session crowd next Tuesday 20th and have promised a whole bunch of excellent musicians. So it would be great to have a good turn out to see how it goes down with the Ledburn locals, and who knows, maybe it could lead to a regular session ??
At the moment it has been agreed as a one off to see how it goes.

Sportsman woes

Please note Ed's message regarding The Sportsman in Wing....Sad to hear as this has been a long standing popular session which will be missed by many if it can't be revived.

Message from Pete Tales

Hi Folks. Quick update. Although the Globe is still closed at present, the signs are very positive for a possible opening next weekend (10th). Signage has appeared outside the pub today quoting 'open all day', 'rustic Italian food', range of beers, coffees etc. They are still advertising vacancies for chefs, and these all say the start date is the 10th - still have to make contact with the new landlord - watch this space.

New open mic in Bletchley
