The Cock in North Crawley got off to a good start with about a dozen players in attendance. It was very well received and will continue on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month so as not to clash with the Roade session & Stony Fiddle Club.

Ups & downs
A goodly number attended last night's New Inn session in New Bradwell and I am pleased to report it will continue on the 1st Sunday of the month.... A welcome return to the list.
On a more downbeat note Chris reports he had a wasted evening on Friday night when he visited both The Irish Centre at Fenny Stratford & The Cross Keys in Woolstone only to find neither session was taking place....I will therefore red spot these until their status is confirmed.

New Inn revival session
There will be a try out acoustic session at The New Inn in New Bradwell to-night (Sunday Feb.6th) @ 8.30pm with a view to revive Paul & Pat's popular session that had to finish during last year.
(Apologies for the short notice, I only found out yesterday).

Hi Everyone,
Good news - I've spoken to the new landlady of the White Lion in Moulton and she is happy for us to have our folk session there on the 2nd Monday of each month :-D
First session will be this month (Feb 14th).
We'll be in the lounge side of the pub (the public bar has the pool league meeting on a Monday evening).
More info including a link to a map showing where the pub is will be sent in the next day or so.
Lets keep this session going folks - it's too good a session to let it die!
Kind Regards
Sue

Message from Andrew Metcalfe
Dear Telegraphers
I was informed yesterday that landlord Mike Warren had quit the Telegraph. Not living near Moulton anymore I sent out a scout (Phil Lewis) to verify the news. Phil confirmed that the place was indeed blacked out last night.
Therefore:
1/. There will be no more Telegraph sessions until further notice.
2/. Sue Martin is on the lookout for an alternative venue in the same area. She will let you know what she has come up with.
3/. I will take this opportunity to bow out of the organising 'team'.
This session has been going since Audrey Smith established it in 1979 in Grendon. Since then it has had 3 organisers and several different venues. I expect the session to keep going in one guise or another for many years to come.
I look forward to seeing you at the next session - wherever that may be.
In the future information regarding this session will be sent out by Sue Martin (01933 413965).
Au revoir
Andrew
