Message from Pete Tales

Hi folks. First the good news – the Feb session (Sunday 6th) will be going ahead as normal, so see you there, and please let anyone else know who might be interested. The not-so-good news is that Emma’s discussions with the brewery have not gone well, and she will be leaving the pub. I understand that new tenants will be in towards the end of February. This of course means I’ll have to go and speak to the new landlord about the session, probably several times, well someone has to do it...

The other item of news is that Stony Steppers are hosting a 12hr marathon session in the Bull, on Saturday Feb 5th, 11:00am to 11:00pm, as a fund raiser to support the cost of bringing a dance team and band from Hungary, and putting them up, for Stony Live week. Anyone who wants to take part will be most welcome, but if you really want to support Steppers, get yourself a sponsor sheet from Yvonne Fox (I have a copy somewhere, if you can’t get in touch with Yvonne directly) and persuade chums / family / pets etc., to cough up.

Thats all for now.

Cheers, Pete.

Cannon finishes

I am sad to report that the Cannon session in Newport Pagnell has come to an end. One of the longest running sessions in the area it was once one of the most popular and you often had to arrive early to get a seat (and that was when it was a weekly event!). I guess most of us have memories of it.
