Appeal for Jim Boland
This is a request for help for Jim Boland (Joe's brother) who plays latterly Cajun drum (think that is right) but beforehand bodhran and whistles at The Cannon, Gawcott, Irish club etc. Many of you guys will know that Jim was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease last year.
A team from his company are planning to do a 3 peak, 3 countries, 3 days challenge in August to raise money mainly for a care holiday for Jim and his wife as well as trying to enable to improve the quality of life. Details at www.helpjimboland.com and information about MND can be found at www.mndassociation.org.
If anyone is able to help by sponsoring the team it would be much appreciated. There is a way to do this on the site by paypal or I can forward a form. If anyone would like one my e-mail is hilary.boland@btinternet.com.
Many thanks and kind regards
Hilary Boland

Bull Hotel changes
The Bull Hotel (main bar) acoustic session that was on the 2nd Tuesday of the month has been moved to the last Monday of the month. Although originally mentioned by Clive on the message board it has now been confirmed by Ross. Start time remains 8.30pm not 8.00pm as I erroneously posted on this week's listing.
