The Crauford Arms in Wolverton now runs a weekly Monday night open mic session. I'm not sure who the contact is for it at the moment but I will add it to the listing.

New open mic @ Monk & Tipster

Please note Sarah's message regarding a new open mic session on 2nd Tuesday of month at The Monk & Tipster in Towcester. The town is rapidly becoming a bit of a haven for local musicians.

Another new session

For another potential new acoustic session see Craig's message on the board re. The Pickled Pig in Towcester. 2010 is certainly starting off with a flourish for the local session scene.

Paddy's Night in Leighton Buzzard

Sally informs that her Paddy's Night charge around Leighton Buzzard will take place again this year. There was a good turnout for this rush around the town's pubs last year so mark it in your diary if you want a fun night of playing....I'll post a reminder nearer the day.

New session at Piddington

There will be an acoustic session on Monday, February 22nd, 8.30pm at The Spread Eagle in Piddington, Forest Road, Northants NN7 2DA . If it is successful it is hoped to continue it on the 3rd Monday of each month. Contact: Simon Chinnery, 07982 300942

Woburn Sands Ceilidh

There will be a Ceilidh in support of this year's Woburn Sands Folk Festival....It is at Woburn Sands Sports & Social Club on Saturday, February 20th, 7.30pm - 11.30pm....Caller is Sue Malleson and music is being supplied by "Hogsty Oak"....Admission is adults £5, children £3....This will be a monthly event up until July....If you would like to become a supporter of the Festival and have the benefit of a number of concessions details are available from: 01908 582842
